The Flying Pig Kitchen has been established for over 25 years and is based in the South East of England.


We are a family run business with a highly experienced team and offer a vast range of menus and services.



We cater for all types of functions, specialising in weddings, parties and corporate events, seven days a week, large or small numbers.


No two events are ever the same. We can tailor the menu to suit your function and we can provide you with a full catering service including a bar service if required.

This is a small selection of our meny suggestions. Any number can be catered for.


MEAT, FISH & VEGGIE

Meat Suggestions

Whole spit roast pig for 100 guests supplied with apple sauce and Dijon mustard, plus a chef to carve and serve


Whole spit roast lamb for 40 guests supplied with mint sauce and redcurrant jelly, plus a chef to carve and serve


Forerib of beef supplied with horseradish sauce and mustard, plus a chef to carve and serve


Leg of lamb steaks marinated in red wine and rosemary


Rack of lamb on a bed of spinach and walnuts served with a red wine sauce


Kentish hop sausages


Sirloin steak with herb butter


Chicken and apricot kebabs marinated in chilli and ginger flavoured coconut milk


Spatchcock chicken with a honey, lime and ginger glaze


Chicken breast with wild mushroom and bacon stuffing

Fish/Veggie Suggestions

Whole salmon poached with lemon chutney


Darn of salmon poached in champagne and served with champagne sauce


Tiger prawns marinated in coriander and lime


Field mushrooms stuffed with blue cheese


Courgette and aubergine parmagiano


Thai sweet potato patties (vegan)


Falafel with a tahini sauce (vegan)


Smokey aubergine tagine with lemons and apricots


Sweet potato and butternut squash roti topped with feta

SALADS & DESSERTS

Salad Suggestions

Moroccan couscous with spring onions, pistachios, pomegranate, fresh dill and coriander in a citrus dressing


Mediterranean roasted vegetable salad – butternut squash, peppers, courgettes, onions and cherry tomatoes roasted in olive oil and thyme


Fine stick beans with baby tomatoes, black olives, basil and French dressing


Chilli bean salad with chillies, coriander, lime and tomato


Traditional Tuscan tomato and crouton salad in a red wine vinegar dressing served with cucumber, red onion, capers and fresh basil leaves


Cashew and quinoa salad toddies with bean shoots in a ginger and peanut dressing


Spinach leaves tossed with cherry tomatoes and pinnate with a balsamic vinaigrette, parmesan and smoked paprika

Dessert Suggestions

Eton mess with Pimms soaked strawberries and cream


Fresh fruit salad with exotic fruits, ginger and dates


Passion fruit and mandarin cheesecake


Chocolate torte with pistachios and cherries, garnished with strawberries and cream

Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with manchego, chorizo and chestnuts

Drinks

The Flying Pig Kitchen are fully licensed and can offer many drinks packages that are available until the end of dining. Local wines and beers of your choice are also available.
