BOOK TICKETS

Beneath the ancient arches of Dode’s timeless Church, where silence and stillness dance together in the hush of history, we invite you to surrender to sound.

Join us on the morning of Saturday 19th July as Ellie of Phoenix Gongs returns to The Lost Village, bringing with her the deep, healing vibrations of planetary gongs. This is no ordinary experience — it is a sacred sound journey, a chance to rest, release, and reconnect with your inner self.

✦ What is a Gong Bath?
Despite the name, there’s no water involved — but you will be bathed in waves of sound, rich with resonance and sacred intention.
As you lie back and allow the tones of the gongs to wash over you, your body and mind begin to unravel — uncoiling stress, softening old stories, and inviting a deep sense of calm and clarity.

Each person’s journey is unique. You may see colours, feel tingling or warmth, release emotion, or drift into a dream-like state. The gongs know what you need — and each one sings with its own character and healing frequency.

✦ What Should I Bring?
To ensure your comfort during this immersive experience, we recommend:

A yoga mat or soft surface to lie on
A blanket and pillow for warmth and support
Comfortable clothing to help you fully relax
Ellie will have a few spares on hand, should you forget.

You will be lying down for the session, ideally on your back, feet pointing towards the gongs — though comfort always comes first.

✦ Important Notes & Contraindications
While gong baths are deeply restorative for most, they may not be suitable for everyone.
Please do not attend if you:

Have a pacemaker or any metal implants
Suffer from sound-related epilepsy or severe tinnitus
Are in the first trimester of pregnancy
Have received recent treatment or medication for psychological conditions (within the last 6 months)
If in doubt, always check with your doctor first or contact Ellie directly for guidance.

✦ What Else to Know
Please bring layers — our historic Church can be cool, even in summer. A warm shawl, socks or flask of herbal tea is always welcome.
Note: the floor is laid with straw for ambience — please advise if you have allergies.

Toilet facilities are available on site.

Parking is limited — we encourage car-sharing where possible.

✦ Bookings & Enquiries
If you have any questions or would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
You can contact Ellie directly at phoenix.gongs@gmail.com.

This is your invitation to pause. To return to yourself.

To lie beneath the ancient beams of a Norman Church, and let the song of the gongs awaken something deep and beautiful within you.

We look forward to welcoming you.

With love & light,
Ellie of Phoenix Gongs ✨
